Description
Piri piri – small peppers from the chilli family, marked by a very hot flavor, were brought to Europe by the Portuguese during the colonial conquests. They found their way to Portuguese cuisine by revitalizing the mild meat and fish dishes. Now they have successfully entered the good books of the spicy foods lovers. In the summer they are an essential addition to grilled dishes, and in the winter they will exquisitely spice up the thick soups, goulashes, and sauces.
